Day 1 : Marrakech – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura :

  • Morning : Depart Marrakech at 09:00 AM, crossing the scenic Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2260m), the highest pass in Morocco. Enjoy breathtaking views of Berber villages nestled into the mountainside. First stop for coffee or tea in a traditional roadside café.then visit Aït Benhaddou kasbah , a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its kasbahs, which served as filming locations for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
  • Afternoon : Continue to Ouarzazate, "The Hollywood of Morocco." Visit the Taourirt Kasbah and, if time allows, the Atlas Film Studios. head toward Skoura, a picturesque oasis with a dense palm grove. Explore the famous Kasbah Amridil, a historic stronghold offering insight into Morocco’s architectural heritage.

Day 2 : Skoura – Agdz – Zagora – M’Hamid El Ghizlane – Erg Chigaga :

  • Morning : After breakfast, drive through the Draa Valley, a lush stretch lined with over 4 million date palms. Pass by small Berber villages, each with a unique charm. stop in Agdz to visit Kasbah Tamnougalt, a fascinating 16th-century fortification.
  • Afternoon : Arrive in Zagora, known as a historical trading post. Visit the ancient Jewish quarter and enjoy a light lunch. Continue to M’Hamid El Ghizlane, the last town before the Sahara desert. Transition from paved roads to sandy tracks as you head toward the vast Erg Chigaga dunes.
  • Evening : Arrive at the desert camp by camel or 4x4. Watch the sunset over the golden dunes. Then enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner accompanied by Berber music around the campfire. Overnight in Erg Chegaga.

Day 3 : Erg Chigaga – Foum Zguid – Tazenakht – Taliouine – Taroudant :

  • Morning : Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. after breakfast, embark on a scenic off-road drive through the rugged desert landscape, passing the dry Lake Iriki, a once-lush oasis. arrive in Foum Zguid, the gateway back to civilization.
  • Afternoon : Stop in Tazenakht, a town renowned for its Berber carpets. Learn about the traditional weaving process and interact with local artisans. Then continue to Taliouine, the heart of Morocco’s saffron production. Visit a cooperative to understand saffron cultivation and enjoy saffron tea.
  • Evening : Arrive in Taroudant, a walled city often called "Little Marrakech." Explore its vibrant souks and ramparts. check into your hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner.overnight in Taroudant.

Day 4 : Taroudant – Aoulouz – Igli – Imlil :

  • Morning : Enjoy breakfast at your riad before heading toward the Anti-Atlas Mountains.pass through Aoulouz and Igli, small Berber villages surrounded by almond and argan trees.another stop at scenic viewpoints for photos and to stretch your legs.
  • Afternoon : Arrive in Imlil, the gateway to Mount Toubkal. Take a short hike around the area to explore local waterfalls and terraced fields. Then visit a Berber family home for tea and a chance to learn about their traditions.
  • Evening : Check into a cozy guesthouse with views of the towering Atlas peaks. And enjoying a hearty dinner with locally sourced ingredients. Overnight at imlil.

Day 5 : Imlil – Asni – Tahnaout – Marrakech :

  • Morning : After breakfast, begin your descent through the Atlas Mountains, passing by the village of Asni. Explore its bustling weekly souk (if traveling on a Saturday). Then continue to Tahnaout, known for its traditional pottery and crafts.
  • Afternoon : Arrive back in Marrakech in the early afternoon. end of the tour.
